Domotex Hannover 2012: a success!
2012-12-06From 14th to 16th of January, Hannover (Germany) was home to the biggest flooring trade show in the industry: Domotex Hannover 2012. Of course, Lamett also joined in on this exhibition!
CEO and president Thomas Baert considers Domotex Hannover to be a personal success “Seeing the positive reactions from customers and competitors, leads me to conclude that we are still one the right track. Our new collections show that we are still one of the most innovative players in the flooring industry.”

Top collections were:
- Our Vintage Supersolid wood collection, was liked by many customers. It’s custom colors, the vintage finish and the Akzo Nobel UV Mat coating seemed to be very popular.
- The Classica and Saphir collection, laminate collections with a vintage look that are barely distinguishable from real rustic wood flooring, was an overwhelming success.
- This year we also launched our new product line of Luxury Vinyl. The Quickship collections, stocked in Europe and China and will be available as from Mid February and Mid March respectively, were particularly interesting for our flooring customers.
Due to the big success of these collections, we will introduce a selection to the Chinese market in the coming months.

Lamett receives China Environmental Label
2012-12-06Lamett is proud to announce that it has successfully passed the China Environmental Labeling procedure (HJ571-2010). After thorough on-site inspection, sample product testing and technical assessment, we have been awarded this exclusive certificate by the Chinese government. The China Environmental Labeling Program aims at improving enterprises' environmental performance and at supporting China's environmental protection efforts. This additional certificate is a rewarding recognition of our strategic focus on sustainable production and environmental-friendly flooring.
